New tax incentive

Traffic has been picking up at the ol' homestead lately. Theoretically, we are one step closer to an offer but it's so hard to keep wondering "when will it happen?" On the one hand, if it doesn’t happen for another six months, we’re in big trouble. On the other hand, winter tends to be a little slooooow for real estate shoppers and with the new tax incentive not expiring until April, folks may very well take their time this winter.

I feel we were meant to be here. As I have no doubt mentioned before, we have learned some hard lessons but every challenge points us in the direction that we were meant to be building and building some of the best green homes in the Triad.

It wasn't long ago that I learned that necessity is the mother of invention. If someone has been doing something like planting tobacco or harvesting sugar for their entire lives and then suddenly, they have realized that they need to get in a new line of business, I am a firm believer they need to change with the tide. In our case, I just feel that we need to shift our paradigm a little bit.

The Triad can't go with out all builders so why not rise to the top once the dust settles, if I may mix my cliches? :)
